Final Fantasy Main Story RP ARC III

Tseng kept his silence as he escorted the President through the building to his office space. And eyebrow raised slightly at the ShinRa logo on the wall, mentally amused at Reeve unsaid comment but outwardly showing nothing.

His eyes were drawn from the logo when Rufus spoke and he frowned a little but bowed. "Yes sir, if you need me I shall not be far away." He stated, deciding perhaps he should get something to eat after all.

Turning he left the office and closed the door, telling the guard on duty to make sure no one enters without the President or the Turks' permission.

Tseng walked through the maze of corridors that was the WRO building, slowly making his way to the main diner. The first thing on his mine, coffee, the second thing.. more coffee.

He walked into the diner and paused, seeing Reno there, he almost turned and left straight away but what sort of scene would that cause? He mentally shuddered to think as he ignored said red head and headed right over to where the complimentary coffee tray was located.

It goes without saying that Reno noticed Tseng the moment he walked in, and froze for a split second before he realised that he wasn't going to get yelled at (yet), and his Wutain boss would rather pretend he wasn't there.

That suited him fine - he had four plates of food (and dessert) to get through before he wanted to acknowledge the job existed, anyway. For now the only thing that mattered in the entire universe was his stomach and it's quiet satisfaction at being very, very full of food.

His eyes drifted over to the coffee station, the idle thought that coffee would go very nicely with what he was eating invading his mind. Part of it fought back with the argument that anything short of a cold beer wasn't going to go with what he was eating, another reminding him that annoying the boss too often gets him in bad situations.

The caffeine urge was soon too great to ignore and he found himself sidling up to Tseng and pouring himself a mug.

"Nothing like the ol' Gongagan we're used to, eh?" he chuckled softly, looking down a the murky contents of the mug. "Still, make do with what we have, yo. Could be far worse off." He took a mouthful and grimaced, forcing himself to swallow and not spit it out. "Ok, it couldn't be worse, yo."

He leant against the unit and forced another mouthful. "The Pres. settled comfortably then?"

Zack had forgotten how many questions kids seemed to ask.
"Well... Hojo tampered with Cloud and myself... He was trying to make us clones of Seph over there." Zack motioned to Sephiroth flying in front of them. "Now he's tampered with you. I died before I could train Cloud, but perhaps I can give you some one on one training to help you out." He smiled at the kid hoping it would cheer him up. "Besides with what Hojo did it would be stupid to just not teach you how to use or control the new abilities you're bound to have." His own words made him think on Jenova for that moment. He still hadn't learned everything Jenova did to him, so it as his chance to learn as well as help Denzel out.

Denzel looked up at him as he heard that. "He... did stuff to Cloud too? Is that why he tried to hurt Cloud?" Denzel said as he stared at the figures ahead for a while. He had heard the stories, about what Sephiroth had done, he knew he used Meteor too and killed Mrs. Ruvi and the Geostigma that killed so many and made so many sick. He could remember the fight, the fear when Tifa had been hurt, when people started to turn into monsters before him.

But Cloud had come back and he had gotten better.

"Really?!" His face lit up in excitement. He wanted to tell Cloud that Zack was going to teach him, but he didn't want Cloud to be worried either. "You'll teach me to fight, and then I can fight with Cloud?" All fear of what Hojo did to him and the wings on his back were gone for the moment, excited that he would learn how to fight. It was what he had wanted for so long and finally he had a chance. Finally someone didn't tell him no.

Yazoo was quite in Seph's arms, silently listening to the conversation that was going on behind them and sighed softly. "Why do kids ask so many questions? Do they really have to know everything?" He asked Seph quietly. Not having a childhood himself and always knowing what his purpose in life was, Yazoo just didn't understand the curious mind.

Tseng heard Reno approach and mentally sighed. That took longer than I thought.

He glanced at the red head when he spoke and shrugged lightly, sipping his coffee. "I wouldn't expect a place like this to stock Gongagan coffee for free use. It is too expensive after and not a good financal risk." He poured himself a second cup and headed over to inspect the food to see if anything seemed eatable.

"The President is surrounded in paper work as usual, there is a guard at his door and he'll call if he needs us." He picked up a sandwhich and inspected it thoughtfully before deeming it was ok. He turned to face Reno. "I trust you've finished up your report for me or you wouldn't be in here."

Reno opened his mouth and then closed it again. "You'd think..." he replied in a sheepish, apologetic tone. He ran his fingers through his hair and shifted his weight, wondering if he ought to make excuses or be honest - both would get him in trouble.

"I ain't stopped in almost two days, yo," he sighed. "I'm tired, I'm hungry... I decided to grab a bite before I get sick from not eating, then I'd fix up the chopper and do the report. I just figured it would be impolite to pretend you aren't here when clearly you are... so..."

He shrugged and went back towards the food he'd left on one of the tables. "I can just as easily give an oral report, yo. I thought we didn't want too much paperwork... and this is stuff you don't want written down. Once it's on paper it's more than rumour - and that's when it gets dangerous."

He speared one of the french fries with his fork and lightly dipped it in the small bowl of ketchup, not purposefully avoiding Tseng's gaze, but not actively seeking it out either. "That's definitely when it starts to get dangerous..."

No sooner had Zack told Yuffie to take care and she had taken off. He shook his head and looked at Denzel.
"That's why I landed us on this street there should be one... coming up."

It had been a while since Zack was in Junon last and he was kind of weirded out by how quiet it was. But he saw the sign out the front of the store and motioned.
"And here we are people!" He announced before pushing the door open then looked at Sephiroth.
"So will you be okay sharing a room with your bro? Cloud would probably never forgive me if I booked a room for all four of us to share." He rubbed behind his head.


[I'm in the midst of sorting through my stuff last minute. I doubt I will sleep tonight, I'll draw scan and print out my ticket as well as do some laundry... soooooo I'll be around but in six-seven hours time I'll be gone. I might not be able to post until I get to Reeve's so that's a good two or three days but I can check the posts on my cell...]
