Final Fantasy VII Main Story RP

Nero's blood-red eyes were filled with hate. His ears could barely accept those words. It felt likes his brain was bleeding. "Silence!" He yelled. "This time, Valentine, things will be different... Before, my powers were given to me from exposure to the tainted lifesteam... and because that was Chaos' origin, you were immune... But now, with the real lifesteam..." He gave a quick chuckle. His mind was broken. He was nothing but a vessel. His conscious hadn't recovered. 

With guns aimed, his eyes stared daggers at the raven haired vampire. His mouth wanted to talk, but he lost it. 

Streams of bullets imbued with darkness Shot from his guns. 

Turning his head as Tifas phone rings, he holds his to his shoulder. "Closed mouth as usual. Guess some people never change. So who all went where?" Listning as she tells him what Uffie told her. " JENOVA"S BACK!!! And they are where? If they're smart they'd get the hell out of there and fast. Sephiroth" His hand gripping the throttle tighter " ................. doesnt sound good. Zack? but how? Nevermind, ask where they are, call reeve back tell him we'll be a little late." Holding his phone between his shoulder and his head he stops the bike. He checks to see what if any materia he has. " looks like this is going to be a long day" shaking his head as he spins the bike back in the direction of 7th Heaven.

A dull metallic thud resonates throughout the laboratory as she deftly slides from her joist perch; her descent to the cold ground below reminiscent of a feather grudgingly floating from the heavens. A chill teases her senses as the skin of her feet leisurely connects with the floor, her toes making first acquaintance as she lowers her weight.

Her muscles tense, showing beneath her skin, as she deliberately slides her right leg forward in a delicate motion, her toes slightly pointed in the manner of an artiste as she steps over the red hot line bubbling in the floor. She shifts her weight forward and reclaims her balance.

“It has been,” she thinks absently, “set foot on this ground.”

She unhurriedly makes way toward Zack, each step as purposeful and elegant as the aforementioned, savoring his perplexed expression as it mars his visage.

“This man,” she deliberates, “perhaps he was important to him. Regardless, his soul is forfeit.”

Her focus is abruptly tousled by a high pitched steam of bothered dialogue. She stands unnaturally still, her body maintaining its focus on Zack as she freezes her pose mid-stride, carefully turning her eyes toward the source of the perplexing din.

“The world’s messed up and I’m confused and about to die…” the youthful woman stammers on, seditious to Jenova’s malicious contentment.

With but a faint illusion of her profile remaining before Zack, she abruptly phases into sight behind Yuffie; the intense pace of her delicate motions rendering her figure scarcely traceable.

“He should give us directions,” the usually bright eyed ninja stops as though bunged.

With a bothered clack Jenova’s nails click against the phone’s casing as she languidly plucks the device from the ninja’s gloved grasp, promptly crushing its tiny carcass in a dim show of sparks and wire. She growls under her breath as she steps backward and gingerly tosses her miniscule industrial victim aside. Her gaze ventures about the space and is affixed upon Zack once again. A disturbed and deeply twisted frown mires her lips as the lids of her eyes rest upon one another.

Snap.

Her thumb and index finger grind past one another, their friction emanating a sharp noise as the white light springs forth once again; though, not in its initial confines, but with the intent of incinerating the party before her.

Zack blinked as Jenova seemed to vanish from in front of him to where Yuffie was.
He spun round he knew Jenova's intent. Shouting hoping Tifa heard on the other end.
"Midgar! ShinRa!" Then the phone was crushed like it was nothing more than an insect.

Zack let out a curse and he grabbed the hilt of the blade drawing it.
Yuffie was tossed to the side like a rag doll. "YUFFIE!"
Zack growled low, he swore he would protect her, he would or at least die again trying.

Pointing the blade at Jenova he watched as she clicked two fingers together.
Then with the loud vivid snap.

Flames.

They grew in intensity and Zack glanced past Jenova at Yuffie then his eyes darted to the windows in the lab.
Run it was an option. Definitely an option. But he had to get past Jenova first and get to Yuffie.
"Hang in there Yuffie I'll get us out of this."

With that he swung the blade towards Jenova for one of the few times in his life swinging this weapon he chose the sharp side as opposed to the blunt side. Angeal would want him to live. He was a little more important than the sword after all, and if he was, that meant life to help protect this planet was important to.

(sorry I kinda slept in this morning to miss the action >.>)

Vincent ducks and kicks off from his position avoiding the hail of gunfire from Nero's bladed wings,the rounds ringing as they impacted the metal pipings and walkways of the complex,Vincent while airbourne spun and fired a volley of return fire in Nero's Direction before finding cover behind a large cylinder.

Two Deepground troops close by attracted by the commotion ran towards Vincents position "Tch..Perfect."Vincent mused in annoyance. The Deepground soliders firing at Vincent. Having to give up the Shielded position Vincent Shot both Troopers dead-aim in the head,there blood coating the walkway,as one troopers body fell down to the lower floor Vincent grabbed the second corpse before it fell and held it infront of him as a shield, as he ran to take cover behind a mass of exhaust vents.

Darkness, impenetrable black, swirling shadows surrounding him...his own once again but in limbo, the shadow of digitized memory holding him back from the light, pained psyche keeping him chained to unconsciousness, Weiss wasn't sure how long he had been trapped like this, but it felt like eternity, forever bound, eyes pale blues with topaz centers struggled to open. he felt something caress his mind a tendril of shadow, so familiar to him life stream or...., eyes finally snapped open.
""Nero..." Weiss slowly sat up a hand going into his wild silver spikes to hold his head at the headache that dug claws into his mind. he looked around him slowly eyes blurry from lack of use, in hope of finding medication, finding none he cursed and looked for his gunblade weapons Ame and Tsuchi, rising to his feet he looked around the almost bare room to the dresser in the corner, opening it up he saw them at the back, and he let out a breath of relief finding them there.
" I have a lot of work to do,and Nero if you are out there I will find you" he vowed, he wasn't really sure what he'd do once he found him,though he was pretty sure he'd smack him one for using his shadows to keep him in limbo.

Weiss looked into the dresser and found some new clothes, the familiar pants with the neon stripes, and also a jacket white with long sleeves that had the neon down the side of the arms the jacket was cut off at the waist, that would make it easier to draw his weapons if he needed too but longer at the back past his knees he found when he'd tried it on, so now he wasn't completely naked from the waist up, but not covered either though the jacket did have a neon zip if he wanted to have it closed, putting on his knee high boots he strapped Ame to his right him and Tsuchi to his left him and he was ready.
"Time to Go."

Nero frowned: Vincent was far too agile. When Vincent shot back, he moved his shoulder back and barely dodged the bullet.

Vincent's idea was rather smart. Human shields. And now pipes. But Nero knew extremely well: Even corpses could take soo many bullets until every single limb fell off. His gunfire stopped for only a moment for the male with crossed arms to close his eyes. With a small wave of darkness, his feet lifted off the grounds and his wings outstretched; he was flying at low altitude. Of course one would wonder just how empty wings let him fly, but that was of no importance.

He dashed forward and turned. His shots ringing loud.

He wasn't just going to shoot, he was hoping for a chase as well.

Giving the bike full throttle, he heads back toward Midgar. No longer dodging anything. "I got to make a stop before Shinra." Staring ahead, his thought going back to Zack, and wondering if anyone else came back.

Putting his phone away, he shakes his head as he tries to figure out just what Reno was trying to tell him. 'Oh well. Better to not get involved in any mess he got going. We've already got enough on our plates.' He thought to himself. "If a Zack is alive somehow, then Aerith might be back to back as well. I wont fail again!!" Not realizing he spoke out loud.

The explosion is brilliant, yet short-lived; it’s expressive blast crackling down to the roar of luminous flames that spew forth intense heat. The room is peppered with burning debris as folders, boxes and parchments slowly curl into charred corpses, various coals hovering throughout the space as the flames claim moisture from the atmosphere.

She takes in the scent of the flames as Zack boldly darts toward her position, the smolder of the wreckage imparting a peculiar smoked quality to its taste as she contemplates her next action. She processes the sight before her with eerie precision, taking in the intermittent swirls of light cyan and sky blue in the shine of his eyes, the rapid undulation of his hair, and the flutter of his dated black uniform.

He flips the heft of his blade, a brief shimmer from the flames alight its scratched surface as the sharpened end of its steel swivels toward her. It is polished to a mirror shine; yet, scars from countless confrontations still adorn its proud length.

His bicep twitches as he pulls back on his weight, his figure snapping into posture as he continues sliding forward, and swings the colossal edge at Jenova.

A sickening crunch defiles the air as the dull blade sinks deep into the bones of her left arm, slicing through as the cells of her flesh are rend from one another. Her bough falls to the floor with a fleshy thud as the Buster Sword grinds to a halt against her ribcage. Crimson fluid steadily seeps from her side, staining her beautiful pale skin as the blood from her severe limb litters the flooring beneath her. She lifts her right arm in an alarmingly casual manner, gritting through the pain as she latches onto Zack’s wrist. Her sharp unpainted nails claw into the tendons of his extremity as she fortifies her grasp.

“My intuition,” she calmly annunciates.

Looking deep into his eyes beyond the mako alterations, further yet beyond even his human self, she sees the cells of her previous incarnation lying dormant in his soul.

“I did not realize,” she coughs, blood leisurely dribbling from the bend of her lips, “that I had another.”

Her grip redoubles as her nails pierce his flesh, her cells rejoining with those in dormancy within his body. Awakening her genes within his tissues, she relinquishes her grasp as her knee juts upward into his gut.

>YAY! Jenova woke up her cells in Zack, he can haz wingez nowez. But will he be good or evil? <

Zack felt the sword sink into her flesh and he was surprised, inwardly though that he had managed to hit her, she hadn't dodged the attack.
As the blood dripped to the floor he had hope now that she could be hurt. He could get Yuffie out of there away from the danger.

When her hand snagged his wrist, it was like that of a snake as it twirled round it's victim. The crushing sensation he was sure his bones were going to snap, but he didn't relinquish his hold on the blade. He held it tight in his grasp, this sword meant the world to him, his promise to Angeal.
When she spoke he realized she was looking into his eyes, looking beyond seeing something and the words of her having another made him prepare for the worst. At that moment he mentally hated on Hojo for his experiments to his body.

Even as her talon like claws dug into his skin and he could feel them pierce his flesh something inside stirred it moved through his veins and he let out a breath.
Her knee struck upwards into his stomach and he doubled over. He pulled the blade from her side with a rip and it skidded across the floor.

Zack dropped on his knees to the ground, his hand going to the side of his head. The weirdest sensation, someone... inside his head. He glanced up at Jenova.
There was something moving suddenly and he felt it beneath the flesh of his back. It wanted out and he felt it pushing against his skin forming, merging into the bones of his shoulder blades
His scream came as he felt his back tear open.
He had no idea what it was, but he saw the white feathers tainted in blood, his blood float to the ground.
"Wings..." His voice confused, weak.

Glancing behind he saw not one, but two and he felt the weight of them pulling his worn body to the ground. His shirt was probably torn but that didn't matter, he had the wings he had wanted, but also that didn't matter.
She was in his head, whispering manipulating his very conscious thought.
"Yuffie..." Zack managed to breath, before he jumped up grabbing Jenova and slamming her against the wall to try and hold her in the place. "RUN GET OUT OF HERE!" Using his own weight and the extra weight of his wings to hold the calamity in place he could only hold her for so long.
"What did you do to me?" He hissed quietly. "Why can I hear you in my head?"

Weiss wasn't sure in which direction to go, he wanted to find Nero, that was his main priority, he stood still for a moment closing his eyes, he vaguely remembered the two of them becoming one body, so he dug within him self to find Nero's signature digging past his own insanity and there was the tendril of shadow.
"Nero... show me the way"Weiss with eyes still closed walked in one direction, following the flow of the shadows. he kept walking and then stopped and opened his eyes, the vivid orbs filling with hate
"filthy shinra, why must you exist, impurity of Gaia," he spat, he hated this place, he wanted to go back to how it was with him and Nero as kids, sure Nero had his darkness but they'd both been happy,
he paused for a bit his hate subsiding to a low simmer, and he made his way into the building, it was crawling with deepground soldiers, all that paused to gape at him. and he smirked
" Weiss the Immaculate Emperor is back, now where is my brother?

The battle had begun, guns firing from above as well as from Vincent. Reaching down he brought Masamune into his hand, the blade held before him. With the opponent in the air it was hardly sensible to remain on the ground. His single wing stretched as the intense eyes locked on Nero. He seemed to know Vincent however his identity he would have to confirm later. All that mattered for the moment was survival, and then after he could think about the danger of what had happened. Jenova was possibly somewhere but that was far later.

Sephiroth's single wing flapped and he lifted off the ground. This was battle and what he had been trained for so many years. If he was going to redeem himself then it would be through protection. It was his only choice. He moved forward, his blade the only thing to guard him against any bullets that may come his way but that was all he had ever needed.

Springing from his cover Vincent fired the three chambers of Death Penalty at Nero,the exchange of gunfire from both combatants echoeing throughout the lower level. Some rounds falling to the ground midflight after counting Neros bullets. As Vincent jumped from highbeam to walkway his cloak whiping as he moved, he noticed Sephiroth swiftly moving towards his position,his blade aimed at Nero. Vincent was slightly shocked,had the world-class Soldier actually come to lend support? It was almost too much tobelieve. Vincent took the image as a grain of salt and continued to assualt Neros flight with a stream of gunfire.

His gun clicked empty and Vincent put his back to the pipes to reload,hoping Sephiroths 'help' will stall Nero enough for Vincent to gain the advantage.

Nero's eyes snapped to the side and he was suddenly filled with fear. I will not die again. Nero told himself as his levitating form manage to quickly burst to the side just in time to barely dodge the viscous blade of the one winged angel. The dash, however, was too quick and he lost balance. Nero painfully crashed onto a metal walkway to the side but that was when he realised he did have the upper hand. With a flick of his hands, tiny red sparks appeared in his palms. His wing-guns whipped out and began firing at the metal cylinders, rather than people. As they broke, high-pressured steam was rushing out.

"I wonder if any of these pipes have released any flammable gasses." He said with a small smile as his two glowing hands created a swirling fireball between them. The Firaga being created in his hand grew in power before Nero condensed it inside himself, and a second later - his body made a T shape as a blast-wave of fire burst from his form. As he predicted, the entire basement level had suddenly erupted in vorpal flames. He began levitating again and his guns, still firing, made their way to hit as many pipes as he saw. I'll burn this whole building down.

Unlike them, he could easily escape with darkness. He knew, for a fact, that the basement level's fire was growing upwards. The lobby must have been on fire now, and the second floor... and it would rise, and rise.

"Burn to death, Vincent Valentine!"

There were flames, flames everywhere surrounding him... just like Nibelhiem, however he would never die so easily. He wouldn't allow himself to, especially after being given a second chance. Turning his eyes flickered towards the retreating figure he moved, sailing upwards towards him. This battle was not over as long as he had energy to fight. He was a Soldier and that was the only way he could seek redemption.

Sephiroth could feel the heat of the air around him but it didn't matter. He had his goal in sight and he would not let him escape, not as long as he still drew breath. He moved closer, chasing after the man though it was made difficult by the flames, the air clouded. It was nothing more than a chase, one that could have a very deadly end. His only duty was to redeem himself, a fallen hero. Monster though he may be he could still strike this creature down if that was what it took for redemption.

"This ends here."

Weiss tilted his head back, looking up at the ceiling, he could smell the fire even from here, he knew it wouldn't take long until the whole building would be engulfed in flames
"we don't have time to muck around, you lot over there split up and search for any survivors, and you know what to do to them" a grin spread over his face, hands eagerly gripping the Hilts of his weapons, it was good to be awake, his plans could begin anew.

After he was done all of ShinRA should bow to him, no more would he let their impurity taint the world, of course no human could never be as Immaculate as he himself was, but with ShinRA gone it was more likely that Gaia could repair it's self.

One thing Weiss wished to know was who was leading Deepground, who had tampered with the life stream?
He'd seen corpses of dead and dying monsters on his journey but hadn't thought much on it, his only thoughts of Nero and how he could be alive... that lead to another thought one that made him burn in fury even as his grin widened almost baring his teeth, if Hojo was resurrected he'd kill him just how he'd killed Restrictor.
" patience, first find Nero then plan my attack" he whispered to him self striding over to the stairs that would lead down to the lower levels

"What did you do to me? Why can I hear you in my head?" My eyes widened at those words, because they sounded all too familiar. And the wings - even thought they were angel wings - couldn't be a good sign either. Jenova. She was taking over Zack! I paused for a moment, both in shock and indecision. Should I leave Zack and just run like he told me to, or take him with me so that he'd be away from Jenova? The second sounded like the best option, but it was really risky. I quickly searched through my materia selection for anything that could help us escape - Restore, Ice, Leviathan, Neo Bahamut, Fire... and Flash*, along with a pair of sunglasses so that I wasn't blinded. I quickly equipped it to Conformer, yelled "Zack, close your eyes!" and then threw the shuriken so that it landed near the monster and SOLDIER, emitting a huge beam of brilliant white light. I quickly put on my sun glasses and ran over to Zack, grabbing his wrist and steering him towards the exit before the Flash wore off.

((* Flash isn't a real materia as far as I know, I just fought that the white light Yuffie's shuriken gave out when saving Vincent in DoC could have been from a special materia or something. *shrugs*))

"For you."

Nero grinned and flung himself back. His guns were still shooting at the pipes. The minute a bullet punctured a pipe, the gas caused said pipe to explode. With the fires and explosions, Nero was ready to bring this whole god-forsaken building straight to the ground! With a yell, his wings managed to pull him away easily. If it weren't for the chaos slowing Sephiroth down, he would have been slaughtered. "You won't win, Sephiroth." A wicked grin formed on his lips. 

Vincent seeing flames erupt on all sides searched for a clearing as quick as he could "Nero your completely insane'he said to himself as he made a mad dash for the elevator shaft,upon reaching the shaft Vincent fired a quick shot at a valve just behind Nero as he ascended causing it to explode. Vincent clamboured up the shaft and shot the cable of the elevator,hanging on for life as the cable rapidly took him upwards.

Finding a clear opening Vincent clawed through a half open elevator door and took rest against the closest wall.

The flames burst out towards him as Sephiroth darted to the sighed, his searing eyes locked on Nero. He grew tired of this, this constant darting as flames were released, the gas escaping. The heated air moved against his wing as he kept his focus on his quarry. This would end here and now. Drawing his hand back he cast the ice from his materia, the air turned cold around him.

"You are a fool and shall never be equal to me. My death shall never be at your hands."

Sephiroth instantly moved forward and Masamune was brought to strike. "This shall end here and now."

When Vincent shot, a fire exploded behind him. But the insane Tsivet let himself catch on fire.

Sparks must have erupted as Nero's wing-blades came together in an X-like fashion to block the thrashing masamune. "Fool." He smirked as his guns aimed at the silver haired First Class SOLDIER. "If you will not burn, you'll run out of oxygen eventually; your teammate has already left. You will die alone, Sephiroth." Instead of shooting at Sephiroth, he shot behind the man, creating more fires.

"Die here, alone. You have no chance at redemption. Not after what you did - demon." Black strands and whisps formed around Nero in a shield-like projection. "You cannot kill me: Accept defeat!"

Sephiroth's gaze remained locked on Nero, unwavering even at the pronunciation of his death. He would not die so easily, and Nero was a fool to believe that he could kill him. His death would only be at the hands of one. "I shall never be defeated by one such as you," if he was to be destroyed once again it would not be by him, not by something as simple as oxygen deprivation.

The quick movements of Masamune continued, flashing before him. "A demon I may indeed be, but you shall not determine my redemption. This is where it shall end."

This guy wick in the head. Nero waited for a slash before he burst into strands of darkness. "Idiot." An echoed voice laughed. "It won't take long for the structure of this building to collapse on itself." Nero appeared a distance away and began firing. "There is no escape for you, primitive, single-minded, moron!"

His fires aimed for the man this time. His hands worked on channeling a thick darkness spell.

Though Sephiroth was a powerful for, Nero only needed to evade attacks for so long before the world would crush the one winged angel to death.
