Final Fantasy Main Story RP Arc X

Yazoo watched the interaction between Nero and Aerith silently, shaking his head minutely to Loz's question. The Cetra girl was confused and that was highly amusing though he didn't show it on his face nor in his body language as he started to walk around the lake towards the three that waited on the other side.

"Aerith is one of us now?" He questioned before nodding. "Very well, we shall trust her for now, but if she does anything against our goal.." he left that sentence hanging, moving his hand slightly in a gesture for Loz to relax for now.

He sighed softly as the rain died down slowly. "Talk, Nero. Tell us of this plan of yours and why we should believe you wish to achieve Mother's goals."

There was an in human scream but it was enough the the creature released his shouder. Kunsel rotated his shoulder as he turned and the blade pressed through it. He took a shallow breath as he looked over towards Cissnei.

"Don't know!"

Whatever they were... they were strong, too strong. The brilliant mako green eyes flashed and Kunsel took a step back as the blade was brought before him. They were still outnumbered but now things were at least more even.

Kunsel's heart suddenly sunk as he saw one on the outskirts approach and one of them whirled on him and put itself between himself and Cissnei.

The light went out of Aerith's eyes as Nero told her she didn't have children. Children. It sounded like a beautiful dream that was torn from her before it could be born.

It wasn't fair. She had helped cultivate life... whose? her fleeting memories weren't good enough.

Bowing her head, Aerith could feel an ache in her chest, but her eyes were dry. Maybe it was better, she couldn't be fighting for the world and having children. Aerith hear a smooth voice ask flawlessly if she was one of them now, the threats and the feeling of not being wanted was getting old, it wasn't right that she couldn't remember anything and everyone else did and held it against her.

Aerith smiled, her eyes locking on the gorgeous white-haired man before letting her voice ring out as music in the wind.

"The same can be said to you, but I believe our goals will be the same. For your sake, I truly wish it so, you're very nice to look at."

Turning to Nero, Aerith waited for his answer to the white-haired man asked for proof that their goals were the same.

Rosso stood in the background, eying the two silver haired whelps as disdainfully as she did any other being except for herself.

She absently listened to the conversation, her expression neutral, hiding the boredom that she felt. This was not her style, she did not make alliances, she went out and killed, so she left the more diplomatic side to Nero, although her hostile gaze barely left the little cetra, occasionally flicking to the other two.

None of them were Tsviets, even that little whelp Shelke was one of them despite everything she lacked. A weak little child. These lesser beings could never truly be allies, when their usefulness was up, she would be the one to end them.

Denzel gave a quick nod and grabbed his staff from the back of the car before he opened the door and was on his feet. The staff was secured to his back once again and Denzel ran towards were the guards were stationed.

The young teen ran at full speed and stopped as he found the stationed guards.

"What is it kid?"

Blue eyes flickered up towards the two men. "There's a small group of creatures headed this way. They're powerful, a few miles away."

The glanced at each other and then nodded briefly as Denzel turned on his heel and hurried towards the lodge. They could be headed this way and Zack had mentioned Jenova cells. That was a problem.

Angeal looked out of the window, of the cabin toward where Cloud and Kadaj were playing each other up; he smiled wistfully to himself, just watching the two for a few moments, already ahead of them on the food issue; just finishing cooking something simple up out of the provisions that he had.

Over the last week, he'd got to know them reasonably well, he was quickly becoming fond of both of them and would give anything to keep them safe; Shinra had done more than enough damage to all of them and he would not see the past repeated.

He took the food and plated it up, opening the window to call them in; it was strange yet oddly comforting to be in a more domestic setting, he'd been taking on a good share of the things to be done around the cabin, preferring to take care of the others, as was his nature.
