Sephiroth sighed as he shook his head. He really couldn't say that he did regret it. Yes initially he did and there were times when the only thing he truly wanted was to sleep but they were his sons. As much as they frustrated him they were his flesh and blood and giving them up was far worse than keeping them. He loved them, they were his children whether he wanted them at the time or not.

"I do not regret it, I only have had to form a new life."

It was still rather difficult to express emotions and Sephiroth shifted to try to find a more comfortable position. Lightly his hand rested on Kadaj's shoulder. "It doesn't necessarily get easier however there are certain things you can do to find men. As time goes on you become more comfortable with things as they continue."

Kadaj gave a small smile, in some ways he needed to hear that he didn't regret taking on his sons (though he still couldn't blame him if he did in any way). He felt like a burden, especially on nights such as this, and he had always been afraid that Seph had felt the same way.

As he looked at his father in the dim light he couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt that he had been a part of what held him back from finding someone new. It wasn't that he was particularly looking for a step-parent, he merely felt that his father deserved someone to love him.
