Archiving: Het, Yaoi, Yuri, General and Picture!

Hello everyone! So it's about time we've upgraded to the new version of how we're going to archive the AU boards!!

All of you: YAY!

The Board: I'm going to explain the process and the 'rules' here. The Archive Board which I have added today will be housing all the archived threads in the respective sub-forums. These threads will NOT be locked. The only threads which will be locked are those that are completed/finished RPs (which you can always create a Part 2 or a sequel). Why are we not locking the threads? Because you shouldn't have to wait around for us mods to log on to revive an old thread you were fond of. Do note that the previously archived threads (which were all yaoi), have been moved to be viewable (sorry it took so long)!

This Thread: The purpose of this thread is firstly for you so you can ask questions or ask for clarification/etc, and the second reason is to notify the staff when a thread is completed or if you have revived an older thread.

Starting February 1st, we will be archiving any threads that haven't been replied to by Jan. 20th.

All of you: Wait a second, chocobo! That's a bit early, isn't it?

Well... yeah. Okay, it is, but it was either 20th or something like 17th and my mine was like "MAKE IT DIVISIBLE BY 10". Yes, one of your mods is a little loose in the head, but if any of you pretend you're 100% sane, you'll be a liar!

All of you: Okay, so you're weird, but why will you archive them to the extreme, then?

Mostly to emphasize the point that they will not be locked, and that you may continue even if they are archived. Also, the more we get archived on the first hit, the better, not to mention Jan 20th is Zack's birthday.

All of you: Will there be any thread immune to archiving?

Threads such as "Behind the scenes", which are only posted in every few weeks for humorous commentary and the like, will be immune. If you have any questions, concerns, or request for lockings/revivings, this is the place to let us know. <3

Can we put in requests for things to not be archived?

For example, Seph and I have a thread that branched off into a second because of how big it got, and the first is locked from use. However, because a lot of things happened in that which are directly related to the ongoing plot, we need it to look back on. To archive that would massively impact our ability to keep the little things consistent =)

There is a yaoi thread between Cid and Tseng that I would request not be archived as we will be getting back into that now Cid has returned.

Okidoki! We'll keep some threads open, but try not to make them too many. The archive is to get things out of the way, and if they're not in the "Get this out of the way" category, then we can preserve them. But, you know what help me a little bit more than explaining which ones shouldn't be archived? Thread names. XD

Just this one, in the end *chuckles* For some reason I didn't even SEE the Archives forum, so the locked 67 page Astraphobia is okay to be archived ^^;
