Th neon sign glowing red against the back drop of the city, A yellow haired man opens the front door and walks in. Another day starts for the employees at Seventh Heaven. Wiht Tifa gone off with Barret for the next month or so, Cloud volunteered to keep rthe place running, ( mostly due to fear of her laying into him ). Doing Delivery runs durin gthe day, he lloks forward to relaxing behind the bar and serving the many happy patrons.

Wiping down the bar he looks out into the light crowd, " Going to be a slow night."

Pouring the drinks fornone of the tables, he sets them on a tray and hands them tonthe waitress. " Table three, and table fours food will be up in five."

Looking at the time he shakes his head as he realizes.its going to be a long night.

Denzel sat at the edge of the bar, a book open in his hands. Ever since the WRO had turned him down he had been trying to teach himself how to fight but it was harder than he ever thought. He had always liked reading, it reminded him of the time he had lived with Mrs. Ruvi. She had let him read a book that had belonged to her son, a beginner book on monsters.

He had been given a book written by a SOLDIER from years ago that detailed the war on Wutai. Lifting it up Denzel read over each word, fascinated by the stories. He always liked hearing Cloud's stories and this was in detail, describing a life he could only dream of.

Deep down all he wanted was to be like the heroes, like Cloud. He really wanted to be able to learn to fight, or at least get more stories.

Placing an orange juice down by Denzel, he rubs his head. "Hey Denz, still reading that book? Figured you would have finished by now." Pouring himself a water he pulls out the stool from under the bar and sits.

Looking around he smiles and thinks about how long its been since he's actually had to do any serious fighting.
Most of his deliveries of late have been pretty tame, even the ones for Reeve, although, he dosnt put much stock in what Shinra tells him he's delivering.

"Yeah," Denzel said as he shut the book and looked up at Cloud. It was a slow day so Tifa didn't need his help, and that just meant he didn't have much he needed to do. He wanted to get stronger but Reeve had said he couldn't join until he was an adult. It had been more than three years since that day and it seemed forever until he would finally be able to join the army.

He wanted to be strong but this was the only way he knew how. He had studied the histories and anything else that they wanted for schooling and thrown himself into self training with a metal pole, but he wasn't getting any stronger, or so he thought.

"Cloud, are you going to stay around for a while? Or do you have work today?"

He loved the stories and would push for more of them, as many as Cloud would tell him, but he wanted other stories. Maybe he could find someone else who would tell him some too.

"Well, Tifa is going to be gone for a while and i told her i'd watch the place for her, so i guess i'll be here till she comes back."

Taking another drink of hisnwater, he looks a tDenzel, " You hungry, i'll make anything you want."

Refilling the boys oj, and his water he walks toward the kitchen.

As Cloud walked out back a hulk of a man walked in though the doors. After scanning the room he sat down at the bar. Man did he need drink and fast

Denzel nodded his head as he drank some more of his orange juice and then glanced over as soon as he heard someone enter. He knew Cloud was in back, but usually he didn't greet the customers unless Tifa told him to. Finally he hurried over to the man.

"Hello, what can I get for you?"

With Tifa gone he knew he had to help Cloud as much as he could.

Grabbing the foodnhe headsntoward the stove, Well looks like its going to be something simple. Putting a pot on the counter he starts cutting up vegetables.

Placing a pan on the stove he sets up a cuttingboard and starts to cut the meat in to cubes. Adding a little oil to the pan he turns on the burner and adds the meat.

Placingnthe vegetables into the pan he adds water till it just covers them, placing it over a burner, he ignites the flame.

Turning the meat over regularly he lts it brown for several minutes.

Having noticed that the young boy was the only one in the bar when he scaned. Loz was not sure about this one being behind the bar, but alas it seemed his only choice.

"Give me your strongest drink, and fast." he muttered grumpily

Walking outnwith two bowls of stew, he sets one down in front of Denzel.

" I'll get his drink, you eat."

Grabbing a bottle of tequilla, he pours a shot and hands it to Loz.

" Can i get you anything else?"

Denzel glanced towards Cloud and nodded as he looked down at the stew, slowly eating the hot food. His gaze flickered over to Loz for a minute, watching him warily at first. He wanted to find out more stories, hear about more adventures, but he was a little wary about asking the man. Instead of doing that his attention turned back to his stew.
