Sick Day [M]

A part of him was disbelieving at what he had been asked to do. Sephiroth stared at the phone and snapped it shut. The newly promoted general let a sigh escape as he shut his eyes for a moment. Angeal was out on a mission and he had just received word to report to Genesis’ room.

It had been his day off, he had been planning on leaving for some time alone, but no such luck now. The black shirt was pulled over his head and Sephiroth was out the door in an instant as he headed down the hall.

The steps were taken quickly and he slid the keycard through, having been programmed to allow entrance. It slid open and Sephiroth walked into the apartment to only hear silence.

“Genesis?”

He had felt feverish and dizzy since early that morning when Angeal had left on his mission. Angeal had always been the type to baby him, he was a good boyfriend, even though since recently they weren't actually dating any longer. He lay in his bed, it hurt to move, he hated how he had been forced on bed rest like this.

He looked up as he he heard his name being called, Angeal must have sent Sephiroth to keep an eye on him for the day, this was just perfect. Was this another plan of Angeal's to try to set up him and Sephiroth? This was why he should never tell Angeal who his latest crush was.

He let out a cough. "I'm in my room, Seph!" He hoarsely called to him.

Sephiroth stepped into the room to see Genesis in the bed. He stepped towards him and sat on the edge of the narrow bed as he stared down at him. "What have you done to yourself this time Genesis?"

It was fairly obvious that he was ill, something Sephiroth had strangely never fallen to. He had dismissed it as an effect of mako cells that he had been treated with at such a young age. The teenager looked over at him as a sigh escaped and leaned forward. He didn't even know where to start, he had never deal with illness and even if he had ever fallen ill Professor Hojo would have certainly come up with a cure.

Lightly Sephiroth reached up and brushed his hair over his shoulder, the waist length hair moving once again against his spine. He just had to stay here and take care of Genesis until Angeal returned from the mission. He could do that. How hard could it be?

Genesis looked up at Sephiroth and blinked. There he was... Sephiroth. Every time he time he saw the beautiful silver haired general, it always felt like it was the first time. His beauty could not be compared to any other. "Over worked myself, it's a fever."

Over working himself, it was something that Genesis often stupidly fell prey to. It was another thing about the red colonel that he saw was nothing but pure stupidity of himself, something else that made him weak. The teen could feel his heart beating as Sephiroth leaned forward, never had he imagined that he'd be this close to Sephiroth without Angeal around. Maybe it was going to be worth getting sick like this if in the end he'd be able to get something out of Sephiroth? Though it was quite doubtful that Seph would give him something like that.

Genesis smiled weakly at Sephiroth, in all honesty - it meant a lot to him that Sephiroth would actually be willing to help with something like this, even though it had all been at Angeal's request.

"Genesis... you are no help to the company if bedridden," Sephiroth pulled a chair up next to the bed and sat there for a moment. What was he supposed to do even? His experience with illness was only with Angeal or Genesis, or with any one of his men, though never himself. But he knew certain things. If Genesis had a fever common sense reminded him that it would have to be cooled down.

Sephiroth left for a moment but then returned with a cool wet cloth. He folded it and placed it upon Genesis' forehead before he sat down, one long leg crossed over the other.

"Focus on recovering right now, I will remain here until Angeal returns to watch over you."

"Seph... thanks for this, I know the last thing you want is to be stuck on Genesis duty," Genesis looked up at him, he slightly blushed when he felt Sephiroth lay the cool, wet cloth on his forehead. It all felt so completely right. He knew that being stuck here all day with Sephiroth wasn't going to be the best thing for his sex drive, in fact it would probably make everything worse, after all seeing as he and Angeal had recently broken up, Genesis hadn't had sex for quite some time. After all, maybe sleeping with Sephiroth is what would heal this hopeless school boy crush that he seemed to be cursed with.

Genesis smiled up at Sephiroth he knew that the blush still hadn't disappeared from his face. Just a simple touch from Sephiroth drove Genesis absolutely insane, he knew that he needed to do something.

"You know dear, I might know one that might start making me feel better."

Sephiroth eyed the blush that seemed to spread over Genesis' face. Watching him for a moment he leaned back against the back of the chair and his arms crossed. "You would know best as my experience to be ill is limited to that of others."

While he knew the basics which he had learned with basic training what others would think was common sense had never been taught to him. He had never needed it, and even if he had he lacked parents to care for him. Though he had never felt the loss.

"Please, continue," he said as he motioned, a sign that Genesis was given permission to speak. Old habits died hard.

Genesis smirked softly, he knew that it would be pretty easy to get Sephiroth to fall for that one. This wouldn't have been the first time he and Sephiroth had done anything, in fact it had happened plenty of times before. "You know, just come on closer."

Genesis purred and pulled Sephiroth down closer to him and then leaned up and kissed him deeply, this was the exact plan Genesis had in mind, and he was surprised that Sephiroth hadn't seen it sooner, after all it was a classic Genesis plan.

"I think you know exactly what it is I want," he said softly.

Sephiroth felt the hands grip the shirt and pull him closer. He was pulled forward and one knee moved to kneel upon the bed. Hands held him there and he felt Genesis' lips suddenly on him. It was certainly not a new experience, he had done so before, however it always seemed that Genesis had the upper hand. For the moment though Sephiroth was not concerned about getting sick, he never became ill.

Lips parted slightly as he felt Genesis kiss him and slowly drew back once he was released. "Would this not exhaust your body more?"
